Art at the Police Station

Although Zürich isn’t a particularly great tourist city, it IS a great place to live for many reasons. We have not seen nearly everything in town, but we are starting to peek into places we’ve heard about that tourists might not come here to see.

On any day between 9 and 11 or 14 and 16, you can pop into the Police Headquarters, present your id at the desk and spend 10 minutes admiring the Giacometti-painted ceilings and walls. They really are quite remarkable, and even though you are not allowed to take photos, there are some on the internet, so you can preview them.
